Rimo3 API - Creating an API User and Credentials

API credentials are required to leverage the Rimo3 API. This article provides the steps to obtain these credentials.

From your Workspace360 tenant open the Users page from the Admin & Support menu.

Click on the "+" to create a new user.

Set the Role as API User.

Provide name details, this enables you to identify which API user ran a given sequence, particularly helpful with multiple API users.

The Client ID is automatically populated.

The Secret value is temporarily visible when you click on the "eye" icon.

Click on "Create" to finish setting up the API user.

This is the only time you will be able to record the Client Secret Value. If this value is lost, a new one must be generated causing the previous secret to become invalid.

To update a Client Secret you can edit the API user.

Click on the "Regenerate" button to create a new Client Secret.
